NCCPT adheres to the industry standard that all Certified Personal Trainers complete a Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation course (CPR) prior to receiving their Certified Personal Trainer Certificate and each time it is renewed.
A valid CPR card is a non-expired card, bearing the name of the recipient that received the training. Only Adult CPR is required for the purposes of obtaining your Personal Trainer Certification, however, employment at certain facilities may have other requirements, such as Infant/Child CPR, First Aid, and/or AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) Training. Please check with the appropriate facility prior to completing a course to ensure that you meet any additional requirements.
Online CPR courses are accepted.
NCCPT has partnered with CPR Professor to give NCCPT Students 10% off.
