- You have six months from the date of purchase to take your exam.
If you do not take the exam within 6 months, a $75 late fee will apply.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to take the exam.
- A valid CPR card and photo ID is required.
1. First, go to their website at www.LaserGrade.com to find a testing center near you. Type in your zip code, and select "The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers" from the drop down list and a list of available facilities will display.
2. After paying NCCPT, you may call 1-800-211-2754 to schedule the exam. You may take the exam as quickly as 72 hours later (depending on facility availability) or up to 6 months later.
3. Bring two forms of ID with you to the testing center. The “primary” ID must be a government issued.
The acceptable forms of primary identification include:
• Driver’s license or DMV identification card
• Passport
• Military identification
Acceptable forms of secondary ID can be any of the above or:
• Student ID
• Employment ID
• Credit Card
• Social Security Card
• Voter’s registration card
• Check card
You must bring and present the testing center with a valid CPR card or you will not be able to take the exam.
